Since 2005, Phitrust's mission has been focused on assisting social entrepreneurs with the development of their growth-oriented enterprises. Phitrust selects social enterprises in Europe and globally that are leaders in their sectors, have demonstrated positive social impact, and have developed sustainable business models that are both economically viable and potentially replicable.
Phitrust currently provides financial support to some twenty entrepreneurs in the form of equity or debt via Phitrust Partenaires, its investment fund, or in the form of grants via its Endowment Fund. Each investee also benefits from strategic, tailored support provided by a member of its Investment Committee, who are active members of the Board of Directors or Strategic Committees of each of its portfolio companies.
