PRAXIS: European venture philanthropy in practice - Case study

With its focus on current and emerging practices in Europe, PRAXIS provides an analysis of the different applications of engaged philanthropy in a European context. This report features 15 case studies that show the practices and business models of selected organisations in Europe, which follow the principles of venture philanthropy in their support of projects and social entrepreneurs.

The organisations featured include Ashoka which operates Europe-wide, BonVenture Management (Germany), d.o.b foundation and Noaber Foundation (Netherlands), Fondation Demeter (France), Good Deed Foundation (Estonia), Invest for Children (Spain), Oltre Venture / Fondazione Oltre (Italy), The One Foundation (Ireland), CAN – Breakthrough, Impetus Trust, UnLtd and Venturesome (UK), and Wise (Switzerland).
