Frederik Jan Van Den Bosch

Frederik is the CEO of Impact Finance Belgium (IFB). Prior to IFB, Frederik spent over 20 years working with European (bilateral) development banks, mainly with the Dutch Development Bank (FMO) where he held different managing roles focused on microfinance and SME financing. In 2016, Frederik started the EDFI Management Company (EDFI MC) in Brussels, owned by multiple bilateral development banks and largely funded by the European Commission. EDFI MC financed early stage and high-risk ventures in the energy and agriculture sectors in developing countries. It also managed several co-financing and guarantee programs. Early 2023, Frederik joined at the start of Impact Finance Belgium.
