PanIIT Alumni Reach For India Foundation (PanIIT Alumni Foundation) is an award winning, not-for-profit, Section 25 Foundation set-up by Alumni of the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). It is headquartered at IIT Bombay.
Set-up in 1950s, IITs have one of the lowest acceptance rate in the world (at 0.7% of applicants who are selected) and thus have been attracting some of the brightest students in India. Few of the prominent IIT Alumni include Mr.Sundar Pichai (Current CEO of Google), Prof.Nitin Nohria(Dean, Harvard Business School), Mr.Arun Sarin (Former CEO of Vodafone group) and Dr.Raghuram Rajan (Former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India) Pan-IIT is a network of IIT Alumni across campuses with a vision to leverage this network for ‘Giving back to the Nation’.
Vision: To be an eco-system , paradigm changing vocational education and livelihoods social enterprise that is uniquely delivering state-level interventions in an institutionalised manner.
Mission: To implement and scale, self sustainable models that enhance incomes of the under-priviledged.
