Foundation de France is an independent administrative agency which was established by the French government in an effort to stimulate and foster the growth of private philanthropy and private foundations in France.
Fondation de France, as the lead grant-making foundation in France, was created to promote and develop private philanthropy in all its forms in France. On top of its grant making activities, Fondation de France devotes resources to the development of the French sector, and to the optimization of the legal and fiscal framework in which it operates.
