In this series of cases studies, we focus on Central Eastern Europe and showcase Social Purpose Organisations' solutions to social problems and how EVPA Members contribute to their success by supporting them with venture philanthropy and social investment approach.
Timural aims to create jobs for people with disabilities and people from disadvantaged backgrounds in rural areas. Since 2010, it has been employing people from these communities to produce educational toys and small wood furniture under the brand Woodjoy.
Thanks to NESsT, Timural also benefited from a grant, but also a mentoring programme a pro bono consultant who trained the management team in lean production management. NESsT has helped Timural refine its business plan and operations.
