In this episode of our Switch Pitch Series, Jean Michel Lecuyer, INCO, will explain how they work with incubators and accelerators - and how this collaboration can be improved to better support impact driven businesses.
The series will facilitate an informal conversation between a diverse range of investors for impact and business support organisations with regards to pipeline building. We will also discuss experiences and ideas on how to foster collaborations.

What is Better Incubation?
Better Incubation is a 2-year programme (2021 – 2023) funded by the European Union Programme for Employment and Social Innovation and co-led by EBN, EVPA and Impact Hub.
The aim of Better Incubation is to foster inclusive and social entrepreneurship in Europe by mobilising and empowering Business Support Organisations (BSOs) with capacities to effectively help the social enterprises and potential entrepreneurs from underrepresented groups to grow their businesses. Jean-Michel Lecuyer
Jean-Michel Lécuyer is now CEO of CDI (Le Comptoir de l'Innovation), which supports social enterprises throughout the world, via an impact investing fund and an international network of incubators.
Graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique (1989-1992) and the Ecole des Mines de Paris (1992-1994), Jean-Michel Lécuyer was several years consultant in the field of eco-industries. From 2003 to 2014, he was Managing Director of France Active (which mission is to finance and support entrepreneurs to fight against unemployment) and CEO of its investment fund (€100 million committed). He is also Treasurer of the French Movement for Social Entrepreneurs (Mouves).
Isabelle Schiltz
Isabelle joined Impact Europe in September 2021. Previously, she worked as an intern in the first microfinance institution for Luxembourg and in two local institutions in Eastern Africa.
She was a member of the international team of Inpulse, an Impact-Investment Fund Manager in Brussels supporting institutions in Europe and in the MENA Region. There, she was involved in different investment operations, on-site missions and in the Technical Assistance Facility.
Since her studies in the area of Enterprises in Social and Solidarity-based Economics (Université de Lorraine) and in Microfinance (Universidad Autonoma de Madrid), she has developed a special interest for social and financial inclusion as well as impact investment and sustainable development. Isabelle speaks French, English, Luxembourgish and German.
